As of Saturday, all of the Burgin children have now celebrated a birthday in Belgium! Drew turned two on the 18th! Unfortunately, his birthday coincided with the onset of a nasty 6 day virus for me, so I am a bit behind in posting for his big day.
Drew is an ultra-energetic, high-spirited, outgoing, entertaining, wrestling-loving, hilarious little guy. Unlike his older sister, Drew loves the spot-light and enjoys making people laugh. He has also become quite the traveler. At three months old, we thought we were adventerous by taking him to Disney World in Orlando. Now, at age 2, he has crossed the Atlantic Ocean 3 times, been in four European countries and will respond "Merci" when asked to tell someone thank you! How completely out of the realm of our expectations for this little guy at such an early age. We are so blessed to see him blossom, making friends with children of numerous nationalities and ethnicities. I think he will be quite the sophisticated 4 year old when we return to NC!
For now, I will post some pics of the last 24 months with our third precious gift from God.
