American Girl Mania

The last year or two has brought American Girl Mania into our house.  It's funny, because Jenna never really played with baby dolls when she was younger, but now she loves her American Girl dolls.  She enjoys styling their hair, setting up school lessons for them, helping them "play piano" and many other activities!

Our local Barnes & Noble has an American Girl bookclub on the second Friday of every month.  They had a costume party for the October bookclub and the girls all dressed up like their dolls. 

Jenna attended the book club with two friends.  She went as her favorite doll, Kanani, who is from Hawaii. 

The girls take the club very seriously, and this is really one of the highlights of Jenna's month! 

Meanwhile, my friend and I headed to the cafe for coffee and some light reading with Drew!
