Our Brown Eyed Girl

This has been a major week for Jenna, so I wanted to share it with our friends and family.  It started out as a pretty normal week (as normal as they get around here).  On Monday afternoon while I was at the computer working on some information for the move Jenna comes in and informed me, "Mom, my tooth is coming out!"  Now let me tell you, that front tooth had been hanging on by a thread for days!  I was so ready for it to come out.  Here is Jenna hugging her Daddy after loosing her first front tooth!

Not to feel left out, the tooth beside it became very loose within 24 hours.  It had been a bit loose, but seemed like it might be a few more weeks.  On Thursday night while playing Wii with Dad and Ethan, Jenna lost her other front tooth!

It's hard to believe how much she is growing up!  We've gone from one toothless grin...

To another, only 6 years apart.

What a blessing this little girl is in our lives.  She has been blessed with a tender heart that loves to make cards, gifts and any type of encouragement to her friends and family.  She even wrapped up quarters and her prized personal tape despenser to give to me for Christmas (the girl loves crafts)!  She is always willing to  help out with Drew and has been a tremendous help keeping the house clean while it is on the market.

One last snapshot, this is Jenna last night while we were waiting for the Olympic Ceremonies to begin.  I was a bit misled by NBC's promotion of the opening night.  The commercial said it would begin at 7:30 p.m., they failed to mention that coverage would begin at 7:30, but the Ceremony would not actually start until 9:00 p.m. EST!  That's a bit late for our kiddos, but how could we take back our promise to let them enjoy the festivities?  Ethan was asleep on the couch by 8:00, but Jenna set up a cozy little spot on the couch with her bears and waited patiently.  Notice the purple bear using chop sticks to eat it's chinese food.  Jenna went to Biuld a Bear with a friend from dance and the mom treated the girls to PF Changs at Crabtree, thus the chop sticks!  What a sweetheart!

Sweet girl! These two little front teeth are threatening to loosen too! Amaleah's bottom grown up teeth have finally started to come in (since she lost those when she was 4!) We miss Jenna...

Thanks, Gab. I was kind of sad when she lost them! Definitely a milestone in her growing up. I think they look so different once the front two adult teeth come in.
