Christmas Eve Surprise

This morning, we woke up to another four or five inches of snow on the ground!  Today is the first day of holiday for the children, but Jason was supposed to work a 3/4 day.  However, the tram near our house was not running due to the snow so Jason was able to stay home!

I walked around the block to the small market for the last few items we needed for Christmas lunch.

Jenna spent most of the morning crafting.  She was helping me by making gift tags for our presents.

Ethan and Drew spent the morning with playmobil and watching a few Christmas French cartoons.

After a while Jason took the kids outside to reconstruct the snowmen and worked for a while trying to clear off the van.

Jenna was enjoying making snow angels.

And Ethan's favorite part was throwing snow balls at the house and his Dad!
Here Jason is diligently cleaning off the van for the 5th time this week!  The van was completely clear last night at 8:00 pm!
Due to road conditions, we will be home tonight instead of our normal Christmas Eve service at church.   Our evening will be filled with cake baking, turkey brining, excited children, Bible reading, hot chocolate and of course last minute present wrapping!
